Why forgotten?

Forgotten software and its website are the computer playgrounds of Barry Wilson. Barry has over 20 years experience writing software in many different languages and environments. He reads profusely although he seems to favor technical reference manuals and the occasional science fiction novel. He created forgotten software because he thinks most software developers are caught up in technical details and jargon and have forgotten why they started writing software in the first place. Occasionally he lets off some steam by writing in his personal blog. It's true he is a technology addict and needs his daily fix - even if it means writing lowly html or firing up a command line editor. Hopefully with the support of non-technical people desperate for his help and big piles of cash Barry can be cured of this terrible affliction. Maybe one day he could even retire to be a gentleman farmer, or a rodeo clown, or even a television game show host.
